Team Oregon Build (TOB) Builds Shed and Picnic Tables at The Salvation Army in Medford, OR

Jul 1, 2024 | by Jesse Quinn

Team Oregon Build (TOB): An innovative partnership among education, industry, state, and community sectors to introduce youth to high-wage, high-demand construction trades. Lane ESD and Southern Oregon ESD received over $2.6 million in grant funding from the Oregon Department of Education through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER III) fund. This funding supports the partnership with the Mid-Willamette Education Consortium to create and pilot TOB. TOB builds on existing career and technical education (CTE) programs, including the Mid Willamette Valley’s Education Consortium’s Willamette Career Academy, Lane ESD Constructing a Brighter Future, and Southern Oregon ESD’s Bus Stop Project. TOB supports disaster recovery, reduces homelessness, and builds resilient communities across Oregon by developing skills, constructing homes, and fostering community connections.
